Michael Edwards (Yaikel) was born in California, USA (82) and lives and works in Santiago de Chile. His practice is representative of current painting and muralism in Latin America. His works seeks to vindicate nature in these gray walls that we inhabit, and through the development of a pictorial language rethinking how we relate to it and what we can learn from the contemplation of its forms, colors, relationships and systems. His paintings and murals have been exhibited in Chile, Argentina, Mexico, the USA, France and Germany.
